QUINN EWERS, FIVE-STAR QUARTERBACK - OHIO STATE (2022) Quinn Ewers, the nation's top prospect in the 2022 class on the Composite and the Top247 rankings, posted strong numbers as well. He was great early on as he threw for more than 200 yards in the first half. Westlake's pressure ramped up in the third quarter and Ewers' time decreased. He looked like he may have gotten a bit banged up in the second half, but he continued to battled, even after Westlake built a sizable lead in the fourth quarter. Ewers completed 23 of 39 passes for 350 yards, three touchdowns, and two interceptions. He made a few plays with his legs, but his rushing stats were tempered by Westlake's pursuit ability and some negative sack yardage.
