Diablo 2 Resurrected Will Let You Import Save Data From Original Release
If you haven't stopped played the original Diablo II or still have access to your save in that game, you'll be able to transfer your progress into the upcoming Diablo II: Resurrected remaster. It all seamlessly transfers over. However, that isn't a mandatory decision. "Yes, keep your old save files," Diablo II: Resurrected producer Matthew Cederquist told IGN . "Back when we were working on [the remaster], we wondered if the old save files would work, so we kind of shoved it in, and it worked! So yes, your local single-player save files will carry over." As revealed at BlizzConline 2021, Diablo II: Resurrected will feature a toggle that allows you to switch back and forth between the remaster's updated graphics and the original game's visuals. So you could port your original Diablo II save into the remaster and then switch to the original game's visuals and it would be like you never switched games. Why? Because you can . If you prefer, you can also keep them completely … [Read more...] about Diablo 2 Resurrected Will Let You Import Save Data From Original Release

Tomb Tells Tale of Family Executed by China’s 1st Female Emperor
A 1,300-year-old tomb, discovered in Xi'an city, China, holds the bones of a man who helped the nation's only female emperor rise to power. The epitaphs in the tomb describe how she then executed him and his entire family. Located within a cave, the tomb contains the remains of Yan Shiwei and his wife, Lady Pei. While little is left of the individual's skeletons, archaeologists found colorful ceramic figurines, a mirror with a gold plaque and, most importantly, epitaphs inscribed on bluestones . The tomb and its epitaphs were described recently in the journal Chinese Cultural Relics by researchers from the Xi'an Municipal Institute of Archaeology and Conservation of Cultural Heritage. [ See Photos of the Chinese Tomb Site and Treasures ] A woman comes to power Wu Zetian started out as a concubine of Emperor Gaozong (649-683), eventually becoming his empress and gaining a high degree of influence over him. A controversial and well-known figure in Toronto’s underground hip hop scene has been charged with accessory after the fact to murder in connection with the January shooting death of Hashim Omar Hashi , a senior police source confirms. ‘Is it worth it?’ Toronto rappers’ murders bring calls for change, and a question
Bizz Loc, a gravelly voiced Toronto rapper known for his aggressive flow — a man a judge once labelled a “menace to society” — recently did something few followers expected. He asked: “Is it worth it?” Again and again in a new music video , he raps that rhetorical refrain over the names and images of more than a dozen fellow GTA rappers gunned down in the last few years — all of them Black, most from the city’s poorest and most vulnerable neighbourhoods. “All these mothers losing kids is it really worth it? All the rappers in my city started getting murdered,” he raps. “If you really want a mansion with the rugs Persian, think about the moves you make is it really worth it?” With the video released this month, Bizz Loc — the Star is not reporting his real name over safety concerns — has joined a growing chorus of voices inside Toronto’s hip hop community calling for the “craziness” to stop. In an email, he explained the message is for everyone, but mostly for the youth who … [Read more...] about ‘Is it worth it?’ Toronto rappers’ murders bring calls for change, and a question
Uganda, Prepare for an influx of your brothers, sisters from America, Lambert says as he shares historic letter
Kindly Share This Story: The leader of Africa’s first Economic War and head of Black Wall Street (BWS) Charles N. Lambert had told Ugandans to prepare for the influx of their brothers and sisters from America. Lambert said this while sharing a historical letter as he addressed Africans in America. In his letter, Lambert said the Economic War which he leads has divided Africa into 600 development jurisdictions. He said that this division does not only help to eradicate the artificial and highly destructive Western Borders in Africa, making Africa One Nation but also provides opportunities to increase access to 28 basic human needs for 1.3 billion people inhabiting land mass bigger than Europe, China and the US combined. Mr. Lambert said the 600 jurisdictions are coordinated from the Black Wall Street Community in East Africa. “The only reason the Black Wall Street was burnt down is because you cannot raise the flag of the resistance on Western … [Read more...] about Uganda, Prepare for an influx of your brothers, sisters from America, Lambert says as he shares historic letter
Pope prepares for first-ever visit to Iraq
BAGHDAD: Pope Francis is to start the first-ever papal visit to Iraq on Friday, an act of solidarity with an ancient but dwindling Christian community and a symbolic outreach to Muslims. The trip comes as Iraq, ravaged by decades of conflict, faces a second deadly wave of coronavirus infections and renewed violence. Persecution has already slashed the country’s Christian community — one of the world’s oldest — from 1.5 million in 2003 to just 400,000 today. The 84-year-old pontiff plans to voice solidarity with them and the rest of Iraq’s 40 million people during an intense week of visits nationwide. From central Baghdad to the Shiite shrine city of Najaf, welcome banners featuring his image and Arabic title “Baba al-Vatican” already dot the streets. From Ur, the birthplace of the Prophet Abraham in the southern desert, to ravaged Christian towns in the north, roads are being paved and churches rehabilitated in remote areas that have never seen such a high-profile visitor. … [Read more...] about Pope prepares for first-ever visit to Iraq
Chinese New Year celebrations stark reminder of Covid’s impact on Phuket
The hope of Phuket reviving tourism for the Chinese New Year is dimming with each passing hour today as streets remain quiet with only locals visiting the area’s Chinese shrines in a stark reminder of the Covid pandemic having lasting effects on Thailand. Even decorations seem to be less vibrant than previous years as Thai-Chinese placed minimal decor outside their homes in the Phuket Old Town area. Thalang and Phang Nga roads signify the decline in festivities according to the Phuket office of the Public Relations Department. Pud Cho Shrine on Soi Phuthon, off Ranong Road has also seen less visitors turning out to take part in the annual blessing ceremonies that include making merit. Of those that did show up, the color red, an auspicious color for the Chinese, didn’t seem to make it into their wardrobe choices. When asked about why they wore other colours, visitors responded to PR Phuket by saying that financial reasons were the main driver in choosing to not buy new, red … [Read more...] about Chinese New Year celebrations stark reminder of Covid’s impact on Phuket
