Tomb Tells Tale of Family Executed by China’s 1st Female Emperor

A 1,300-year-old tomb, discovered in Xi'an city, China, holds the bones of a man who helped the nation's only female emperor rise to power. The epitaphs in the tomb describe how she then executed him and his entire family. Located within a cave, the tomb contains the remains of Yan Shiwei and his wife, Lady Pei. While little is left of the individual's skeletons, archaeologists found colorful ceramic figurines, a mirror with a gold plaque and, most importantly, epitaphs inscribed on bluestones . The tomb and its epitaphs were described recently in the journal Chinese Cultural Relics by researchers from the Xi'an Municipal Institute of Archaeology and Conservation of Cultural Heritage. Uganda, Prepare for an influx of your brothers, sisters from America, Lambert says as he shares historic letter

Kindly Share This Story: The leader of Africa’s first Economic War and head of Black Wall Street (BWS) Charles N. Lambert had told Ugandans to prepare for the influx of their brothers and sisters from America. Lambert said this while sharing a historical letter as he addressed Africans in America. In his letter, Lambert said the Economic War which he leads has divided Africa into 600 development jurisdictions. He said that this division does not only help to eradicate the artificial and highly destructive Western Borders in Africa, making Africa One Nation but also provides opportunities to increase access to 28 basic human needs for 1.3 billion people inhabiting land mass bigger than Europe, China and the US combined. Mr. Lambert said the 600 jurisdictions are coordinated from the Black Wall Street Community in East Africa. “The only reason the Black Wall Street was burnt down is because you cannot raise the flag of the resistance on Western … [Read more...] about Uganda, Prepare for an influx of your brothers, sisters from America, Lambert says as he shares historic letter

“Waters fee’ back with a vengeance

CHALONG: After insisting five days ago that the reintroduction of the “waters fee” applied only to boats mooring in Ao Chalong, officials of the Chalong Tambon Administration Organization ( OrBorTor ) admitted today that the infamous fee actually applies to all boats mooring anywhere around Phuket. The fee was reintroduced on January 1 after a hiatus of about a year, and has raised hackles throughout the island’s yachting community. Sailors complain that there is no equivalent fee elsewhere in Thailand and say they cannot understand why a single tambon (there are 13 in Phuket) should be able to levy fees on people staying in any part of the island. Documents obtained by the Gazette show that the resumption of the fee – ranging from 1,000 baht to 1,600 baht a month, depending on the size of the boat – was authorized by Governor Udomsak Usawarangkura on December 15. When asked on Friday about the fee, Gov Udomsak appeared not to recall anything about it, but told the Gazette that … [Read more...] about “Waters fee’ back with a vengeance

Brunei’s draconian new penal code comes into force

PHOTOS: Beverly Hills Hotel, just one of many hotels partly owned by the Brunei royal family Outrage greets Brunei’s anti-gay laws and draconian punishments as they come into force. The harsh new criminal laws in Brunei, including death by stoning for sex between men or for adultery, and amputation of limbs for theft, is now in effect. Despite an international outcry from other countries, rights groups, celebrities, and students, Brunei’s 72 year old Sultan appears determined to drag his small ASEAN monarchy back into the dark ages. The country is on the island of Borneo and bases its new penal code on Shariah, Islamic law based on the Quran and other writings, though interpretations of Shariah can vary widely in different countries adopting Shariah around the world. The country only has 420,000 citizens. Human Rights Watch called the new penal code “barbaric to the core,” and celebrities and Los Angeles officials have called for a boycott of nine hotels owned by the Sultan … [Read more...] about Brunei’s draconian new penal code comes into force
