Josh Jackling is following in the footsteps of his grandparents — and their renovated school bus. The vintage 1954 vehicle was purchased in the early 1970s by Jackling’s grandparents, Joseph and Inez. The bus was fixed up and taken on several family road trips that spanned more than 275,000 miles and criss-crossed two continents. Now, Jackling is preparing to hit the road with his wife Carolyn McKenna, much like his adventurous grandparents. High street favourites that won’t re-open in April as Covid closes iconic chains forever

While there's light at the end of the tunnel for many British businesses after months of lockdown, there's some familiar favourites that will never return to the High Street. Many businesses have been told they could reopen on April 12 if the government reaches its Covid vaccination target, as part of Boris Johnson's plan to get the country out of restrictions. Hairdressers, salons, clothing outlets and many small, local businesses such as florists will be able to trade again after more than three months of closures. But for many towns and communities, the high street will never be the same again as one by one big chains that have been part of Britain's culture have fallen under the pressure of the pandemic. 1st Korean Woman Pilot in China Recalls Unusual Route

October 04, 2013 08:24 Cho Eun-jeong is the first Korean female pilot to work for a Chinese airline, flying an Airbus 320 at Shanghai-based Juneyao Airlines until June this year. But this fall the 41-year-old starts work for a Korean airline. Pilots in Korea need to graduate from the Air Force Academy, study flight operation at Korea Aerospace University, or work for an airline to get their licenses and flight experience. But Cho took a totally different route. It was not until the age of 29 that she started thinking of becoming a pilot. She began studying for her dream job at 33 and qualified a couple of years later. Frustrated by the fact that she was unable to apply for Korean airlines due to age limitations, she tried hard to find any other possible way to become a pilot.
