The last dragon isn’t the best dragon. Disney’s stunning new animated movie Raya and the Last Dragon has a new trailer, revealing more of its story as well as the titular dragon. The movie is set in a fictional fantasy land called Kumandra, which incorporates different aspects of Southeast Asian culture. It also features an Asian American cast - minus Alan Tudyk, who voices Raya’s animal companion Tuk Tuk. Watch the trailer below: The trailer begins with Raya (Kelly Marie Tran) entering a lively city and encountering a lost baby. This baby turns out to be a con baby who steals all her stuff, beats her up and runs away. That’s a harsh blow against the ol’ ego. The ‘last dragon’ is also revealed later on, a bright blue creature named Sisu (Awkwafina), who also has a human form. The recent red-band trailer for the upcoming Mortal Kombat movie has broken records. The promo was viewed more than 166 million times in its first week, making it the most-watched red-band trailer of all time. As reported by Deadline , within four days, the Mortal Kombat trailer had overtaken the Logan and Deadpool 2 redband trailers, the previous record holders. In addition, the trailer trended in 52 YouTube markets and 28 Twitter markets. Mortal Kombat will be released in theaters and hit HBO Max on April 16, where it will stay for a month before moving to regular on demand platforms. The movie is directed by Simon McQuoid and stars Joe Taslim as Sub-Zero, Josh Lawson as Kano, Sisi Stringer as Mileena, Max Huang as Kung Lao, Lewis Tan as Cole Young, and Chin Han as Shang Tsung. Warner Bros. released a trailer for actor Ben Affleck’s newest movie “The Way Back” on Thursday. In the movie, which is set to premiere March 6 and was produced by Warner Bros. , Affleck plays an alcoholic construction worker who gets the opportunity to coach his high school team in basketball. The trailer shows Affleck’s character drinking on the job before being told about the opportunity to coach after the current basketball coach died of a heart attack while at the local bar. “Is the team any good?” he asks. The man responds by saying the team hasn’t been good since the last time Affleck played. Mario Lopez will play KFC's longtime mascot Colonel Sanders in a steamy Lifetime channel holiday romance, the companies said on Monday (Dec 7), as marketing and entertainment converge to boost sales of the chain's fried chicken. A Recipe For Seduction tells the story of a young chef with a secret fried chicken recipe who disrupts a woman's plan to marry off her heiress daughter to a handpicked suitor. Lopez, known for his role in the TV series Saved By The Bell and as a host of entertainment news show Extra, is featured in the film poster clad in Sanders' trademark white shirt, black tie, glasses and goatee and clutching a young woman in a red dress. A Terminator anime series has been greenlit at Netflix, according to Variety . Details are still pretty sparse at this early stage for the project, but given the franchise's humble cyberpunk roots with the 1984 original film, an anime adaptation of the series and its world makes sense. Variety reports that Netflix has partnered with Skydance, the company that holds the rights to the long-running sci-fi franchise, for the series. Mattson Tomlin, who worked on the screenplay for Matt Reeves' upcoming The Batman , will serve as showrunner and executive producer for this upcoming series. "Terminator is one of the most iconic sci-fi stories ever created--and has only grown more relevant to our world over time," said John Derderian, Netflix's vice president of Japan and anime. Zack Snyder's much-anticipated zombie action movie Army of the Dead has been in the works for many years, but it finally arrives in May and it is foregoing theaters altogether for a streaming release. You'll be able to watch it on Netflix. Snyder made his directing debut in 2004 with his remake of George Romero's zombie classic Dawn of the Dead. But while he moved onto the hit Frank Miller adaptation 300 next, the filmmaker planned to return to the world of the undead soon after, and Army of the Dead was announced in 2007 . At that stage Snyder was only planning to co-write and produce, with Matthijs van Heijningen Jr. hired as director. Unfortunately the movie didn't happen--in 2011, Heijningen Jr explained that while it came close to shooting, financing fell through before production could start. It will be a long time before you see any of it, but production on Season 4 of Netflix's Cobra Kai has officially begun. The streaming service announced the beginning of filming by sharing a photo of the Season 4 premiere script, titled "Let's Begin." The news didn't stop there, as Netflix also revealed some changes to the show's cast. First and foremost, Peyton List (Tory) and Vanessa Rudio (Carmen) have both been made series regulars for Season 4, after previously appearing in recurring roles.
