Google has added a new troubleshoot and help menu in Google Meet. The new tool gives users the option to check real-time performance stats and address network-related issues. The new tool aims to provide a better insight to users on how their local system and network environment affect their video call quality. We’ve added tools in Google Meet that make it easier for end-users to understand how their local desktop and network environments affect meeting quality,” Google said in a blog post. The feature can be accessed using the overflow menu placed at the bottom right corner during an ongoing call. Also, the feature is only available on the web client of Meet. The best OTA receivers for 2021
Spending $200 on the HDHomeRun Connect 4K and. say, a one-time cost of $120 for a lifetime Plex Pass, is not a bad investment when you consider it puts you way ahead of the ATSC 3.0 curve — especially if you’ve already got lots of Plex-enabled devices around the house and a dedicated Plex Media Server. But if this doesn’t sound like you, or the thought of setting up a Plex server and using it to watch TV leaves you in a cold sweat, you should probably look at our other picks. … [Read more...] about The best OTA receivers for 2021
Int’l Critics Line: Todd McCarthy On Pedro Almodovar’s ‘The Human Voice’
On a moment-to-moment basis, Swinton, backed up by her adoring director, cinematographer (José Luis Alcaine), costume designer (Sonia Grande) and cinematographer (Alberto Iglesias), delivers a can’t-take-your-eyes-off-her performance as a woman who, unlike Cocteau’s original, is accomplished, recognized and, more than likely, accustomed to getting what she wants. Without her lover, she still has a lot going for her, unlike Cocteau’s creation. With Magnani, the character is demolished, as is the viewer. With Swinton, you’re willing to bet she’ll be turning the page not too many more wardrobe changes from now. … [Read more...] about Int’l Critics Line: Todd McCarthy On Pedro Almodovar’s ‘The Human Voice’

‘QAnon Shaman’ Seeks Presidential Pardon From Trump, Says He Received ‘Invitation’ To Riot
He took seriously the countless messages of President Trump. He believed in President Trump. Like tens of millions of other Americans, Chansley felt — for the first time in his life — as though his voice was being heard. My client had heard the oft-repeated words of President Trump. The words and invitation of a president are supposed to mean something. Given the peaceful and compliant fashion in which Mr. Chansley comported himself, it would be appropriate and honorable for the president to pardon Mr. Chansley and other like-minded, peaceful individuals who accepted the president’s invitation with honorable intentions. … [Read more...] about ‘QAnon Shaman’ Seeks Presidential Pardon From Trump, Says He Received ‘Invitation’ To Riot
