YANGON: Armed Myanmar soldiers and police are using TikTok to deliver death threats to protesters against last month's coup, researchers said, prompting the Chinese video-sharing app to announce it was removing content that incites violence. Digital rights group Myanmar ICT for Development (MIDO) said it had found more than 800 pro-military videos that menaced protesters at a time of increasing bloodshed - with 38 protesters killed on Wednesday (Mar 3) alone according to the United Nations. "It's just the tip of the iceberg," said MIDO executive director Htaike Htaike Aung, who noted that there's "hundreds" of videos of uniformed soldiers and police on the app. A spokesman for the army and junta did not respond to a request for comment. SINGAPORE - Two new nature parks will add to Bukit Batok's green lustre and be part of a nature corridor that connects the Central Nature Park Network and the future Tengah Forest Corridor. The first, Bukit Batok Hillside Nature Park, will be located between Bukit Batok West Ave 2 and Bukit Batok West Ave 5. The 8.9ha facility, about the size of 12 football fields, is slated to open in 2024. The second, the 16ha Bukit Batok Central Nature Park, will be in the forested area next to the Civil Service Club @ Bukit Batok, but its launch date will be announced later as the plans for it are still in the works. The two new parks will be part of the newly announced Bukit Batok Nature Corridor, which will consist of over 125ha of nature parks and 10km of trails, Bukit Batok Town Park and Bukit Batok Nature Park, which opened in the 1980s, will also be part of the corridor. Denver prosecutors charged a 14-year-old boy with first-degree murder Monday, alleging he was the gunman who fired multiple shots into an SUV on West Colfax Avenue last month, striking the driver in the head at least once and killing her. The Denver District Attorney’s Office also charged 18-year-old Neshan Johnson — accused of driving the car the suspected shooter emerged from — with first-degree murder in the Feb. 20 shooting of Pamela Cabriales, 32.
