Marketing meets art. Art cars are not new. Artists use the automobile as a blank canvas for both beautiful and exciting works of art. No two are alike, and that’s the beauty of the art car. BMW is probably most famous for such creations , with a plethora of glammed-up examples. But other automakers have dipper their creative toes in the water, such as Rolls-Royce and Alfa Romeo in the recent past. Audi has, in the past, done an art car as well, but the Audi R8 here is not an official project of the automaker. Instead, aftermarket tuning company ABT Sportsline, known for taking performance Audi vehicles and turning them straight to insanity, commissioned the car. Almost every adult in England and Wales could receive ‘£750 share of £34BILLION claim against Experian’
ALMOST every adult in England and Wales could receive a £750 share of a huge £34billion claim against Experian, it's reported. The credit firm is being sued in a landmark High Court case that could see millions claim from a damages pot. The company holds information on some 46million individuals - but it's accused of mis-selling data and building potentially inaccurate profiles, the Mail on Sunday reports. On Friday, lawyer Liz Williams, who lives in north Dorset, filed a writ at the High Court for £750. But the action could cripple the company. It accuses Experian of collecting data on Brits from a range of sources, including online questionnaires, the UK census and the electoral roll. The data is then allegedly sold on for commercial gain. Last October, the Information Commissioner's Office found Experian was selling data onto third parties - including political groups - without their consent. It set out a range of penalties, and the company can be fined … [Read more...] about Almost every adult in England and Wales could receive ‘£750 share of £34BILLION claim against Experian’

Singapore businesses potential target of global phishing campaign taking advantage of COVID-19 pandemic
SINGAPORE: There is a potential global phishing campaign purporting to help businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic – and Singapore is reportedly among the six countries targeted, the Singapore Computer Emergency Response Team (SingCERT) said on Friday (Jun 19). The bogus campaign will be centred on government support for businesses and individuals relating to COVID-19, SingCERT said. Earlier on Friday, the Ministry of Manpower cautioned the public about such phishing schemes. It said hackers plan to use a spoofed email address - [email protected] - to bait recipients to click on the embedded phishing link. "These phishing emails are designed to drive recipients to fake websites where they will be deceived into divulging personal and financial information," said MOM. SingCERT later provided more details about the phishing campaign. A report, said SingCERT, claimed the campaign is set to launch in Singapore on Jun 21 and will offer businesses an additional … [Read more...] about Singapore businesses potential target of global phishing campaign taking advantage of COVID-19 pandemic
Hungary likely to support EU’s economic rescue plan, PM Orban says
BUDAPEST: Hungary is likely to support a European Union plan to inject billions of euros into the bloc's coronavirus-ravaged economies, Prime Minister Viktor Orban said on Friday (Jun 19) ahead of a conference of EU leaders. Orban had said at the end of May that he was sceptical about the plan. "Several EU member states are in such a dire situation now that we can hardly avoid approving that Hungary would also support a joint borrowing plan," he told state radio on Friday, adding that the scheme presented a chance for Hungary's economy as well. The 27 leaders will discuss the recovery plans for the bloc on Friday morning by videolink, with the aim of uniting behind an unprecedented €750-billion stimulus programme financed via borrowing by the executive European Commission. The aid would be disbursed mainly among the nations worst-hit by the coronavirus epidemic, such as Italy and Spain. Central Europe's four-nation Visegrad Group of Hungary, Slovakia, Poland and the Czech … [Read more...] about Hungary likely to support EU’s economic rescue plan, PM Orban says
