Protracted speech ‘traumatizing’ for organizers of award-giving body

Organizers of an award-giving body have sworn not to give any more trophies to Rebellious Worker (RW) ever again. They said they got traumatized after RW ruined their program sequence by delivering a thank-you speech that's 30 minutes long. Their production team had to remove several segments of the show because RW took his sweet time reading the names of people on his list and telling anecdotes related to his life as an actor. Meanwhile, there were over a hundred honorees that night.RW ignored procedures, which were discussed to him during a preshow meeting. He should've kept his speech short and sweet, the organizers said. But we're guessing RW just couldn't help himself since he hasn't gotten a lot of opportunities in his acting career to say a thank-you speech for an award, anyway. Burn!
