AVON Lake, Ohio— The Avon Lake Waterfront Wine Festival has been a popular summer attraction for the past seven years along the lake at Veterans Memorial Park. Last week organizers posted on the Waterfront Wine Festival’s Facebook page that the festival has been canceled for this year. The post states, “It is with deepest regret to inform everyone that we are unable to organize the Waterfront Wine Festival this summer due to a family illness. The Waterfront Wine Festival will return in the summer of 2020 and remain committed to providing our community with the same quality event in the future that measures up to our reputation. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.
